Plant Burger DIY Recipe

Craft our vegan-friendly Honest Plant Burger at home with our simple, easy-to-follow recipe.

  1. PICKLES

    To make our Honest Pickles visit our pickle recipe here. NOTE: This is a recipe for a large jar of pickles so you can keep them in the fridge for future burgers and salads.

  2. Get a heavy based frying pan on a high heat (don’t add oil, the burger’s got enough fat) and turn your grill to a medium heat — you might want to open some windows — as it’s going to get smoky.

  3. Add plant burgers (we recommend Beyond Meat) to frying pan and cook for 3 minutes on each side. Once done add smoked Gouda and melt under your grill.

  4. Lightly toast the buns under the grill and thinly slice the red onion. Now you’re ready to start building your burgers.
