Created by our head chef Tony Mazza, our Portobello local burger is a beef burger with bacon, deep-fried truffle fondue, truffle porcini mayo, honey, lettuce and pickles.
It’s been 11 years now and we like to think we’ve gotten pretty good at burgers and chips. We’re all about top quality beef, the best potatoes and good times. Don’t just take our word for it though, we’ll let our food and people do the talking. After all, we’re Just Being Honest…

Our head chef Tony was born and raised in Piedmont in northern Italy. Like all Italians Tony is fiercely passionate about the food of his region. Every year people travel from all over the world to seek out fine white truffles, which is the inspiration behind this delicious slice of deep-fried fondue.
Piedmont is also famous for porcini mushrooms and Tony has paid tribute to his homeland with this delicious, umami-rich mayo made with porcini mushrooms selected by our market trader friend Tom aka The Portobello Mushroom Man.
