We knew that with great British produce, we could make the best burgers we’d tasted – anywhere. We use British cheese, British veg and British relish. We’re homegrown and homemade – we always have been and we always will be.
Pimento cheese is a staple of the American South that goes back for generations. Half-spread, half-dip, it’s a delicious blend of cheddar, cream cheese, mayo and sweet pickled peppers.
Seven years ago, a homesick American ex-pat called Jane brought a tub of homemade pimento cheese into her local English pub and asked the chef to slather it on a burger. It hasn’t come off the menu since. Homewrecker was born.
Golf fans know pimento cheese as the official sandwich of The Masters. To Southerners like Jane, it’s Carolina Caviar or ‘pâté of the South’. We say Homewrecker might just be your new favourite burger cheese.
